Dr. Josh Buice serves as pastor of Prayer’s Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia.
Several years ago, Dr. Buice had a vision to start a theology conference that would focus on God’s Word as opposed to the pragmatism and techniques that are so often the focus of evangelical conferences. In 2013, the first G3 Conference was held in Douglasville, Georgia, on the campus of Pray’s Mill Baptist Church. The G3 conference has grown into one of the largest evangelical conferences in the United States. G3 stands for gospel, grace, and glory. Over the years, the G3 Conference has grown from 750 people in 2013 to 5,600 in 2020. Recently, Dr. Buice transitioned the G3 conference into a 501(c)(3) organization under the name G3 Ministries. The ministry’s purpose is to educate, encourage, and equip local churches with sound biblical theology for the glory of God. Today, G3 Ministries offer local churches more than a yearly event. They provide resources in form of online articles, podcasts, expository preaching workshops, and are currently working on a new local church based curriculum for Sunday school and small groups. While G3 Ministries will still be offering events such as the large national conference, regional conferences, study cruises, and church history tours—Dr. Buice and his team are very excited about offering resources to local churches and individual Christians.
